　　新POLO不再是曾經的圓潤和小巧，銳利機敏的外觀明顯帶有尚酷與高六的基因。車身尺寸方面，全新POLO與改款過的四代POLO勁情相比發(fā)生了明顯變化，長度增加54mm，寬度增加32mm，高度降低了3mm，軸距增加10mm。簡單的說，它比原來大了一小圈。

　　新POLO的內飾有米色和黑色兩種。深色內飾以黑色為主色調，多處細節(jié)搭配了鍍鉻金屬裝飾，有著濃重的運動氣息。而淺色內飾則洋溢著溫馨輕松的氣氛，居家風格的設計也能博得不少年輕人的歡心。全新POLO的頂配車型增加了前排座椅加熱功能，這在國內合資的小型車中非常少見。旁邊空缺的按鍵在進口版的5代POLO中為ESP和胎壓監(jiān)測等高端配置。

　　動力方面，EA111系列的1.4和1.6升發(fā)動機繼續(xù)裝配在了國產全新POLO上，并且沒有經過任何形式的調教，這個4氣門的發(fā)動機在低轉速時的扭矩輸出值較高，并且有用良好的燃油經濟性，但動力偏弱，高轉速時發(fā)動機噪音明顯。
